    Default Anyone else carrying a "mouse-gun" ?

I usually carry a 9mm or larger caliber, but since the prices on .380, 9mm, .38 , .357, .40 and .45 ammo have gone crazy, I started carrying some of my smaller caliber weapons.

During the summer months, I was packing a Makarov in 9x18mm. Now with the colder weather, I've either got my CZ70 in .32acp and/or a Kel-Tec P-32 .32acp in my coat pocket.

    Anyone else got a "mouse-gun" ?

How many people do you shoot in a typical week that it's making a dent in your budget?

The price of 32 acp is more or less on par with 9mm. I keep looking at it to shoot my grandfather's gi bring back ppk. I'm finding less availability, and equally high prices.

Plus i start factoring in winter jackets, capacity, etc. Not planning on being in a gunfight. But I've never heard anybody say that they had too much ammo.

From my understanding over the past 50 or so years is that 9mm has always been considered a mouse gun.

Is a mouse gun roughly equivalent to a bee stinger?

.32 ACP is hte smallest caliber my son's former department allowed its officers to carry for backup or off duty. BUT they required it be carried loaded with Winchester Silvertip ammo. I'm sure there are mor capable ammo types now available. Make use of them.

After my fourth surgery on my right arm I've been rocking my NAA Black Widow 22Mag and/or a Taurus 94 22Mag since it's the only one I have an ambidextrous holster

I look in the bargain bins at every gun shop for left handed holsters for the bigger carry guns

I don't carry them but I had two coworkers who fancied the little Beretta Tomcat handguns. One of them even carried a pair and he used one of them one night on a fool who thought that he would be an easy carjack target.
