The checks were probably printed before they even started debating the stimulus package.

Watch the date! Mine has no date on it, there are numbers that can be interpreted as a date, but the word date is not there.
Ours is POST dated for the 6th. POST DATED, WTF! We mobile deposited it on the 2nd and it got kicked back today. And we only know that since my wife hawkeyes the account. Now we have to redo it tomorrow.
So don't toss that check if you mobile deposit, keep it around so you can do it again. And watch that you don't overdraw on an acct assuming it's in there.
We already wrote checks against it to pay our quarterly taxes. Same with the last one, got the debit cards that time and used them to pay the quarterly taxes.

The 1200 was deposited into our account last week. I used a portion of it to buy some ammo from a guy who needed it to pay his rent. I got the ammo for way less than current prices and helped him out.

I think in the coming months there will be many reports of people selling off stuff to.make ends meet.

I finally found the equation for these checks. My 600 is reduced buy at least 750. No money 4 me.

I'll admit that I'm bad and I don't check my back account regularly. I stopped by the bank to deposit a check and found that there was nearly $5000 more than should be in there. Came home and asked the wife if her company had given her the bonus they talked about for trouble of having pay reduced 10% last year. Nope, they didn't deposit that yet. Jumped online to see what it was, and back in January, $4800 was deposited. I guess they were giving money for the kids as well.

Taxes are going to be interesting the next couple of years. We'll have to make sure we have some set aside because chances are, we're not going to get to keep that money.
