    Remove barreled action from stock.
    Remove gas plug.
    Remove gas cylinder.
    Slide handguard forward. Ears of rear handguard clip slide into two slots on barrel.

    Sounds easy but it will probably take me 10 minutes due to not having done it before haha

    Use a PLASTIC mallet to tap the gas cylinder forward/off!!!!! It's a bit tricky with the op-rod still installed.
