There is a market for vintage ammo. Obsolete calibers in particular are frequently sold by individual cartridge though I've seen boxed ammo too. The .30 Remington isn't technically obsolete, but darn hard to find anymore. Retail on the ammo is nearly $50 a box for current production. I'd start at that as a selling price for a full box and price partial or individual cartridges at the per cartridge rate based on what a full box sells for.

Here's a listing for PCI made cartridges in that caliber, keeping in mind that they are one of the cheaper options. https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog...ategoryId/206?

I've used these sites in the past. A lot of these guys are great to contact and more than willing to share their wealth of knowledge.

I attended an auction last fall , Literally hundreds of boxes of old, mostly full boxes of ammo . One I remember was 2 boxes of 220 swift, brought over $400 a box. These boxes were in excellent condition , no fading, no dog eared flaps etc. But , I thought that was an insane price . Another thing bringing big $ these days is old gun literature and signage. So you have some $ there
