I see hope in that second paragraph but where was all the concern when the bump stock ban turned law abiding citizens into felons overnight?

I guess there wasn't any Vets using bump stocks.....

I mentioned this earlier or in another thread. Bump stocks were different because 1) they were demonized because of the Vegas shooting 2) the MSM sunk their teeth into the bump stock sound bite 3) the anti-gun lobby hit the comments just as hard as our side did... Reading through the brace comments recently I didn't see any that weren't in opposition.

Don't agree with it obviously, just my perspective. In order of ease of banning it's 80% receivers, braced pistols, assault weapons and finally all guns - simply based on public attitude and awareness. They'll keep coming.

1) I don't think that most people even know what a pistol brace is and 2) One hasn't been used in a 'mass murder' and may never be.

When the proponents of gun control want them banned, there WILL be one used in a mass shooting somewhere. You can bet on that.

Wasn't a brace involved in that Ohio shooting a awhile back?

I was thinking that was what kicked the whole brace thing off.

I think this is what kicked the brace BS off. SBR had a "Blade" on it.
