Mot sure but they usually recomend not putting them on a work bench because they can vibrate off and hit the floor.

I've never had one get hot no matter how long i ran one.

I*ll add when it comes to plated or full metal jacket, you can scratch the plating off the tip of the plated bullet with small screwdriver. Plating isn*t that damn thick.
Vibrating and that makes sense. I'd be more inclined to screw a piece of wood to the table to hold it in place than drag it up and down the stairs. And I could also just put it on the floor and run it then.

    Thanks

I just put my vibrating cleaner on the basement floor when I'm using it.I use a Lyman Turbo Pro and the pan is plastic and has to be cleaned frequently to keep powder residue from building up on it. If it were permanently mounted it would make that harder. Also, I shoot a lot of Xtreme plated bullets and they do, or did anyways since I haven't bought from them in a year, put a good coat of copper on theirs. I don't expand case mouths very much and don't have any problems with missing or damaged copper on any bullets I've pulled.

I'm not considering attaching the vibrator to the wood, just cutting a piece of wood the diameter of the bottom of it and fastening that to the table. That would stop it from walking away but not hold it down. I don't think it jumps.

I've had my RCBS vibratory cleaner case cleaner sitting on a countertop for close to 40 years and it has never moved.

I report that mine walks nowhere and I can't even hear it where it is. And yous say I should put small pieces of bounce in there to collect the dirt?

I put an old hand towel with a hole in center to go over center stud on top of Lyman cleaner to keep down dust.

I'm not getting any dust that I can tell and I put four 1" square pieces of dryer sheets in with the last job, they came out dirty and I tossed them.

I cut a Bounce into 4 pieces too and add a tbsp or so of nu-finish to mine. I'm using a Lyman Pro1200 and do about 2 1/2 pounds of casings for 2 1/2 hours. I do it on a basement floor and it doesn't walk.
