They were one of the first places I bought ammo from (online), always a great price.
They did a total 180 in pricing.

Yup. Prices were great and they had lots of surplus too.

I havent ordered anything from them in 20 years and I'm still getting their emails.

That’s one manufacture of ammo and there’s no way they weren’t effected by COVID-19 lockdowns and a shortage of supplies due to delayed or shutdown international shipping.

Demand far exceeded the supply chain this year shutdowns or not. No way the industry could have kept up with this unless they had a Chrystal ball.

Saw 12 guage 00 for a buck a round right here in the classifieds a week or so ago. No one needs profit gouging companies, we do it ourselves for an extra couple of bucks.

I'm proud to say that I gave a good batch of shotgun shells away for less than value to a member here at the July group shoot. I treat people the way I like to be treated and seem to have found a good balance in life with that. But I'm not hurting for money and gouging someone for a few bucks isn't going to change what's on my dinner plate.

Why cant companies sell straight to the retail end users on a lottery system? Whats the point in having 5 guys between the factory and the final end user?

Delivery people hate picking up and carrying lead (and books). Logistics dictate a few destinations vs the entire zip code of the us as a easier and more cost effective efficient way.

Someone on another forum posted a link to Cheaper Than Dirt selling a 100 round box of 22LR CCI Minimags for $99.99. $1 per round for 22...uhh no thanks

And Winchester 333 crap for 50 cents a round. And there's a limit of 4 on the CCI. Unfkingbelievable.

Saw some S&B 220 gr 300 BO in the MP for $2.50/round...

Don't shoot it much, but I think I bought that for .50/round a couple years back. That might be the highest increase I've seen in any caliber since this nonsense started.
