So.....breathing out your nose requires a filter?

Biological processes produce chemicals and odors, some of which are discharged during gas exchange in the lungs. Exhaled breath is more than carbon dioxide. Especially to life forms with extremely discerning olfactorys.

I've read a lot about "scent free" clothing lately. Two things stood out. A bloodhound can find a guy in a scent lock suit no problem. A deer has a much better sense of smell than a bloodhound. If you fart wearing scent lock, how could anyone smell it if it actually worked? Scent control is a waste of time. Watch where you walk and stay down wind.

Some days I scent it with chili but will use hot wings and onion dip to mix it up.

Doe piss will work any time, estrus or not. If a buck smells the female deer mixed with human scent, he will come running to the rescue. I swear, it's the truth!

The only thing I do is use a small ozone generator. Does it work? Maybe, maybe not. I put in next to me in the blind, and hang it above me in the tree. The only times I've been scented have been when they caught my tracks walking across an area. The generator I use is small, quiet, rechargeable and easy to set up. If nothing else, it's peace of mind.

Interesting... I find ozone to be objectionable, and can detect it fairly easily. I wonder if it helps or hurts in the wild?

The way its supposed to work is to destroy the bacteria causing the odors. Fwiw, its supposed to kill viruses too. Personally, I dont mind the smell of ozone, I even picked up a small ozone generator that plugs into my cigarette lighter in my truck. Like I said, could be snake oil, but gives me some peace of mind.
