    Default Massively Low Shooting!

Don’t know what happened but at 10-12 yards I was massively low. Like 10-12” low. Lots of times I couldn’t even see where I hit as it was off the corrugated backer. Handgun. I’m freaking to be honest, what do I do to correct?

Bad grip ? Not enough palm swell to rotate gup upwards ?

Revolver? Semi? Are you flinching? How heavy is the trigger. Did you try different ammo?

I’ve put an empty chamber on a revolver for people and it’s impressive to see the flinch sometimes.

Sorry, more details. Sighting in a laser for the first time on the gun. Is it possible I have wrong laser? I am using an Olight Baldr Mini on a full size Taurus PT809B. Even so I should be able to adjust laser to shoot straight. I think I am dipping as I squeeze the trigger. Shouldn*t it maybe be 1.5* higher than front site, the laser that is at like 10 yards or so. Now I think I am over compensating and have the laser super high over the front site that it is so noticeable. It*s a semi. Not too hard of a trigger but not super light.

I have Crimison Trace laser grips on an N frame S&W 657 Revolver 4" and at about 12 yards The laser dot just barely can be seen on the target over the front sight when the irons are aligned in a perfect sight picture, its dead on. the laser module is probably 1" below bore center line

at that range the front sight post should almost eclipse the dot

Yeah I would say the laser is 2 inches below the bore from a quick measurement. Maybe just a bad day. Maybe squeezing grips too hard? Damn!

Gotcha, I have a laser grip for my 637 snubby. I shot it with the sights. It was fairly accurate. Then I adjusted the laser to the sights. That seemed to help. This was at about 7 yards. Once adjusted, the snubby was very accurate at the 50 ft range. (More than with the irons and my eyes). It was fun to shoot with the laser after that. Perhaps the mount is a little off so that the laser sight adjustment isn’t there to get you on target?

Watch the laser on the target. It will show you what you are doing.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I had my son look. He says I drop down when I squeeze and it hits where the laser is after it drops so accurate in that way I guess. So seems I dip down.
