Re: What's the most you'd pay for new 9mm brass 115gr FMJ name-brand ammo right now?
I don't shoot 9mm much , and prefer 124gr. Did an ammo inventory and still have 2-1000rd cans of Greek-NATO 124gr I paid $100ea. 2-1200rd cans of loose Bosnian surplus I paid $99/can for back in the 90s. I have a few boxes of Federal Hydra-shok 124gr +P LEO for carry/defensive use.
I don't speak English , I talk American!

I think $0.50 per round is at the high end of what I would pay and that includes shipping costs (because anything locally is impossible without paying a lot). And that's if I'm desperate.

I paid $350 for a case of 9mm coming out of the 2013 panic. That's what I'd pay for an insurance case today. My biggest problem is finding the time to reload more. I'm swimming in components.

Have a bit at the moment when it was $20/$25/box and a little when it was $10. If I needed to, could see a box or two for $0.70, but then I'd save them and not use them unless needed.
That said, I'm sure all newer shooters would love to go back in time when things cost a few pennies.

I wouldn’t pay over .50 a round now and it will be sometime until I do. Unless it’s premium boutique defense ammunition no one is getting $1 a round even for HST or Gold dot.

Sitting on quite a bit of fmj 9 lawman and HST jhp but if I was a new gun owner and was desperate to buy ammo I would grab whatever I could find and do alot of dryfire practice rather than burn through dollar a round fmj.
I myself am torn between selling some ammo for outrageous profits or holding on to everything to fend off hordes that are sure to come after the Kraken lays waste.
