    Can’t say anything regarding that particular model but the TLE RL II and the TLE series over all is an excellent gun. At the time I purchased it which was about 10 years ago now it was highly recommended on the 1911 builders forum as a solid buy to use as is or as a base gun to build on top of. Mine has about a thousand rounds through it of mixed .45 acp including steel cased and I’ve never had a failure.

    It was said that spending anymore or going with a model above the TLE got you nothing more but cosmetics and was not worth the hundreds of dollars. I am not much of a 1911 or a .45 acp guy but this is one of the last guns I’d sell in my collection.

    There are defiantly some turds out there but that can be said of pretty much everything.

    For those of you so inclined, you may wan to ask at WalMart, at least my local store is still hiding all ammo in the back room and telling associates ammo sales have been discontinued.
