Does anybody enter gun giveaway contests? Ever win?

I never used to enter online contests. Earlier this year i had covid and my work wouldn't let me return until i had a negative test. I was home for 10 weeks total. So i had a lot of free time.

Suddenly online contests didn't seem like such a waste of time. I entered and won a contest on pyramyd air. They sell air rifle guns and accessories.

Since then I've entered everything that comes my way from the various online retailers. I haven't won a thing. But i also haven't lost anything by trying.

Anybody ever win anything? What contests are you currently entered in?

The one thing that usually deters me from entering online contests is looking at the fine print and seeing the other bullshit you're allowing them to send you or sell your contact info to.

I have entered a few, just on the chance... No gun winners, but did win a gift certificate once, and it was worthwhile to me.

I get emails from various gun websites and gun manufacturers about promoting an online drawing the prize being a firearm. I never entered nor do I know anyone who won.
I noticed a big increase in local gun raffles using local gun shops. Usually supporting a volunteer fire companies.

I won a SCAR 17 Grand Prize at a FOAC Gun Bash in Washington PA, but never won anything at a "free to enter" drawing.

I stopped entering those, because most require an email address... which they promptly sell to countless other online marketers.

It would literally take me a month to unsubscribe from all the spam marketers who acquired my email address.

Entering them is a waste of time, but you should have throw away email accounts for such things.
