I'm sure Caniks are more available than Glocks right now, and I really like mine. The Turks know how to make a good gun.

I got a Zigana M16 (TISAS) 9mm pistol from Classic at a very good price (I got it on sale for $329 w/1-15 rnd mag). It looks like a Beretta 92 with some differences - top of slide is not cut out, grip screw placement is different so you can't use a 92 grip, rear sight dovetailed in so you can easily adjust(windage), front sight part of the slide like the 92. It is very solid and shoots very good. Have put about 150 rounds through it (various bullet weights and manufactures as well as reloads) without any problems. Toss up between it an a new Taurus G3 as my drivers side pocket truck gun. Found another mag for it (Classic was out) so I have 2, thinking about a third (46 rounds total then).

Zigana and Girsan are different factories, Zigana mostly makes metal framed hammer fired guns that blend multiple designs together and 1911's. Girsan makes Beretta and S&W M&P copies.

I’ve got two caniks an sfx and an elite. They are great guns especially for the price.

Correct. But IIRC Girsan is a private company whereas Zigana is a company under the TISAS flag. In fact, the markings on mine says "Zigana M16" and "TISAS TURKIYE" on the slide. Either way, both are fine firearm manufacturers and very good for the price you pay.
