    LOL I can understand you questioning it, it's like, "Is the toaster plugged in?", when it won't work. Trust me, it's .338 WINMAG. Aaaaaa WTH, here's a shot of it if it's legible.

    Yeah sorry, I deal with customers all day and too many of them get through a lazy tier 1 support..

    Have you tried running the case up into the die with no decapping stem ? Just to take the stem
    out of the equation and put all the blame on the die body.

    I think so. I put a new round in the press and turned the die down until it just hit then locked it in with the lock ring. Then I installed the decap pin. It was suggested that I used a used shell instead and I didn't fare any better that way. Should the butt of that shell be sticking out that far? I don't think so and someone previously posted that the die should come just about down to the plate and obviously it doesn't with that shell sticking out that far.

    Are you trying to decap and resize..?
    With my rcbs dies a 223 case runs all the way up to the shell holder..

    Yep and this is my first at this so I don't know what to expect. I really think the die is miss-stamped.
