    Default Slide Milling

Have any of you guys sent out your slide and had milled? I’m considering sending mine out for an optic cut but not sure who is reliable, if you’ve done it who did you go with and how was the experience

I’ve done 5 or 6 of them now. They all turned out nice, and the only thing I can’t do is cut the arc in the front to match the base profile of the rmr, which really makes no functional difference. The worst part is tapping the two mounting screw holes for the red dot. It’s always a challenge.

Don't send your slide to BattelWerx...they ruined my G21 frame. I suspect the dude that I had a G17 slide and his CNC machine was programmed to cut G17 and not G21.

There are a few good companies that do great job milling slides.
