Re: .16gauge
I have two 1897 parts guns I want to convert to one 20 gauge rifled bore if I ever get around to it.

Re: .16gauge
I grew up hunting with a 16 ga. When my Dad died I got the deer rifle and my brother who did not hunt got the 16 ga. I missed that shotgun.
This summer a friend moved and asked me if i was interested in his shot gun. Sure I said. He gave me his 16 ga shotgun his father gave him when he turned 16. He never hunted or shot it after he moved out on his own.
I really like this gun and can't wait to find some ammo for it at a decent price.I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.
