I'm having my semiauto Sten and the Cz24 built with 16-inch barrels to avoid the tax stamp. Damm shame making these beautiful weapons look like anteaters with the long barrel LOL I have a PPS-43/52 and a PPSH41 kit coming to me from Bowman's arms.

I might also pick up that Galil kit from Apex too.
Get a Galil SAR kit from RTG parts. People buying them say the receiver cuts are incredibly clean and small, making a receiver re-weld as easy as it can be. New barrels are sold out everywhere at the moment and the originals on the market are typically shot out in addition to being 1-12 twist.

+1 for the suggestion to join weapons guild forum.

Bumping this up: I still want my CETME C/CAI C308 battle rifle but no one has them. Sooo...

I’m thinking of building an AR10. Anyone wanna give me a bit of help on where to start? Totally new platform for me (I’ve shot em a few times...) and I want 7.62x51 specifically (for ammo availability: I can still get 308 pretty easily)

CDNN had some partial kits from the Remington/DPMS/Bushy liquidation. Prices seemed tolerable for current times...like $400ish, less barrel and bcg I think. PSA had the full (basic) thing for around $500-550 in 2019 for comparison, but who knows when those prices will be back

I’ll look into the partial kits, thanks for the heads up 👍 if all it needs is a barrel and bcg, I should be able to pick those up second hand for cheap in the classifieds
