If SCOTUS deems mail in ballots thrown out (case is tonight) then it falls squarely on the states and this is important.

    The link reads in part:
As such, and due directly to these issues (and any others that may arise)r I am requesting
that a full audit be conducted of the 2020 General Election prior to the certification of any
    results.
I have a problem with the "I am requesting" part. Who is he requesting? Who has the power to grant an audit? Can they simply deny the request?

Good point I don't know unless it's to the house...they have the power through this process.

Here's a breakdown from Free Republic.

"Um...from what I understand the title is patently false.

Sec. of State certifies election; the PA House has no involvement, save for an Article II intervention (which at this point is a strong possibility). As Cutler points out, it was Wolf who opposed legislation to fix the PA issues, but it was PA’s elected officials whose lack of cajones precipitated this crisis by failing to act sooner.

Furthermore, he merely “requests” an audit. Cutler’s such a girl (you get my meaning).

Before SCOTUS intervened in 2000, the FL legislature was postured to move on its own; Cutler presents no such threat.

Unfortunately, I view this letter as no more effective than jumping up & down really mad...a bit of a hypocrisy given that he’s been part of the problem.

Wolf will never preside over an audit unless compelled to do so.

    This, in contrast, merits analysis.
