I have an 8 pound jug of Titegroup I started on back about 5 years ago and I still have a long way to go to use it up.
I*ve been loading 41grs of 4895 under 168gr Speer hpbts and get tagged homes at 100 with my RPR, the powder isn*t quite Korean War era but it*s at least 40 years old.

I wish I had gathered more supplies for reloading but I'm not totally without either and my capabilities are still growing.
For decades I’d buy half boxes or baggies with 6 bullets in them off of Gunshow tables for a buck or a quarter, my gunshow buddy would always roll his eyes. I’d sort them by caliber and weight and put them in pill bottles, bags, coffee cans.

A couple weeks ago I loaded 400 rnds of plinking ammo for my .300blk using mix and matched 180/210 grain bullets I accumulated for pennies over the years.

I was just digging around and found 200 cast .311 bullets I can recall buying at the old GreenGate Mall show in the early 90’s, still priced at $3 per 100. I think I’ll make up some plinking rounds for my Indonesian .303.

Keep at it, learning how to make your own ammo especially for times like this and especially if done on the cheap is nothing to balk at.

I don't know what to believe, without receipts.

I tend not to believe the person who's right when every single other Poofer is power hungry, supreme assholes, and boot lickers.

    Got receipts?

Ammo prices won't affect my shooting habits, but it will affect my reloading and gun cleaning habits. I got a treasure trove of lead bullets and other reloading component from my dad, and I'd like to start reloading more so I can conserve my factory ammo. I've only put jacketed ammo through my guns. I'm wondering how will I need to change my cleaning procedures if I'm shooting all lead?

Oh CLEANING procedures... now THAT is something that will not be affected by the ammo prices.

Too busy not reloading to clean my guns after shooting them BEFORE the panic.
Too busy not reloading to clean my guns after NOT shooting them NOW.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

If I wasn*t too busy reloading so I can shoot everyday I*d drive down and give you some of my factory ammo stash so you could clean your guns before and after shooting.

But I*m too busy reloading, sorry.

I'm too busy not shooting to bother with not reloading.
