Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
I will definitely be buying on the dips if there are any. Honestly have not bought ammo in a year or so.

Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
No it's not the ammo prices keeping me from shooting but it's the lack of places to shoot. Looking for somewhere in Chesco to shoot. Anybody?

Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
Yes. I don't shoot nearly as much now. Been burning through .22lr quite a bit as I have more than I'll ever know what to do with. The other calibers are checking function/zero until my backorders come in. Then it'll be back to normal. I used to think my stockpile was good to go until this year happened. Now I know I need to double or even triple it to feel comfortable shooting at the pace I normally do. The wife will love that.

Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
I have a few rounds for my various calibers and have cranked up the loading press to roll my own for target shooting... I may be shooting more rather than less----retired and shoot about 9am on the week days; pretty much have the range to myself.
I have more than enough 22s to last until I am worm food. The oracle is in. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!!

As of now home schooling has affected my shooting habits more then ammo prices. I suppose one day they will effect me too.

Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
Been in quarantine for 10 days, figured I*d stop in to see if this was being discussed.
Nope, because after being ridiculed here by members including a moderator in the past, just this last week I cranked out 1000 124gr 9mms at a whopping cost of $5 a box and 1000 rnds of 55gr .223 at a cost of under .10 a round from bullets I bought on a sellout of a gun shop years back at a an outrageous cost of .03 ea.
Today is my last day at home and tomorrow the S&W Performance Center M&P CORE is getting a workout.
One day maybe guys will learn that at least knowing how to reload and that picking up a few supplies when costs are at giveaway prices is not to be laughed at or ridiculed.
Thanks for the realization that I wasn*t the stupid one every time someone here thought it was a joke to express how beneficial it is for a gun owner to know how to reload.
Sweet sweet ammo, I got lots.

Re: Have ammo prices affected your shooting habits?
Sorry to hear about you being ridiculed for reloading. I too am a big time reloader, sure is nice to have the ability to shoot without running "low on ammo "
