    Default Good gunsmith around PGH

I have a revolver with a mechanical issue, and need suggestions on a good gunsmith around the west hills area.

Seitzinger in West Newton is the only old school gunsmith around that I know of. I’ve seen him do good rifle work but you will have to call and ask if he does revolver work. I’m sure he will be happy to answer the phone and not have to tell someone he doesn’t have any primers for a change.

I don't know anything about this place, but I used to drive by there on occasion and see the sign outside.
I had to look it up on the map to get the name to post this.

Seitzinger in West Newton has retired.

Legion Arms in West Mifflin (old Anthony Arms) has a real gunsmith on staff.
In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796
