    I admit to being leary of that lever in a defensive situation. Maybe for a revolver it would be ok. Definitely a strker without a thumb safety. Not that I advocate thumb safeties on striker guns.

    This wouldn*t have happened with a serpia holster.

    It happened because the 5-11 holster has a bad design that puts the release at the same location as the safety.

    I'd say it's poorly trained people. If you do it right (finger flat, not curved) then you should end up with your finger on the frame above the trigger guard. It's all the people pressing it with the tip of their finger where their finger ends up inside the trigger guard.

    Does the 1911 Serpa flip the safety off for you as you draw? Cool, mine just pulls the trigger for me.
