I think the differences are at the basic level, Liberals are all about feeling and empathy, and as such if it evokes emotion it is what motivates their viewpoint. Anecdotal evidence is what stirs their emotional reactions. For example, stories about the two Mexican illegal immigrants dying in the heat of the Sonora desert is enough to put them firmly in the "No human is illegal" camp and opening the borders will save so many lives.....

While Conservatives seem more fact and statistics driven, Those two mexicans are part of a 2.3 million illegal immigrants per year flood of people who are at best burdens on our society and at worst, statistically speaking, criminals. We already HAVE 284,000 Americans veterans out of work and on welfare and they want to bring in MORE PEOPLE?I feel bad for them but they cant come here and expect me to pay their lunch ticket. And if we have such a high unemployment number, where are these people supposed to work?

They cant convince me that immigration is good and I cant convince them its statistically impossible to maintain. This is across EVERY issue that divided the liberals from the conservatives.
The problem is you LOGICALLY cannot convince them that if we follow the liberal line of logic we wind up down the socialist rabbit hole and as such we wind up a failed state like Venezuela.

Both my son and daughter hate Trump. When I tried to get them to explain why, it had nothing to do with his politics, or accomplishments, or their love for Biden or Harris. It was Trump's personality, and his failure to denounce extreme right wing organizations. And his Tweets. If he had just had his Twitter account yanked about a year ago, mellowed a bit, and talked more about his accomplishments, I think he could have won. He accomplished more in 4 years than Obama and Biden did in a cumulative 55 years.
