Default Wayne Co LTCF now on-line

Wayne Co Sheriff Mark Steelman, has brought the application process for a LTCF, into the 21st Century. You can now apply online, for a new, as well as renewal of your LTCF in Wayne Co. It includes non-residents. There is an additional $5 fee beyond the $20 fee for the license, to cover administrative costs. My hats off to the Sheriff, I’m sure it makes his job and that of his staff easier and more efficient.

Although first time applications and renewals are online, one must still make a personal visit to the Sheriff’s office, to pickup their LTCF.

What gives him the authority to charge extra money? Seems he is breaking the law. That is corruption but people won*t care. They believe it*s a benefit. Same thing happened with the ltcf extensions.

The cost of a LTCF hasn*t changed, it*s still $20. The fee for doing it online is $5. You can still go in person to drop off the application and it*s still only $20, as mandated by law.

$5 for the convience of applying online and making only one trip to pick it up is a win in my book, well worth the cost.

Chris is a good/solid guy, I've known him, and his brother, for many years.

Got to meet Chris Roslen tonight at the Sterling Twp supervisors meeting. He answered my questions for me and in return I*ll be putting up a couple of lawn signs for him and gets my vote.

Steelman sends a letter out to the 2 references you put in your new application with a bunch of questions. I was approved no problem, what about Chris Rosler? I'm due for renewal 2023.
