Re: New Hunter Help
It's pretty good. It started out west but now I think they have most states. It shows all the property lines and who owns it. It's really easy to mark any points of interest and you can even add photos. Comes in handy with buck rubs. It's pretty accurate and you can download sections of maps to your phone. Once downloaded you don't need cell service and it just works off your phone's GPS. I've used it for about a year now and I hardly use my old GPS anymore. If you use the promo code THP for The Hunting Public you get I think 20% off.

Re: New Hunter Help
One guy to check out for some great hunting advice is Dan Infalt. He has a youtube channel and website called The Hunting Beast. I've never seen anyone who takes the time to explain exactly what he's doing and he only hunts public land or private he gained permission to hunt. Another great site is The Hunting Public. They did a public land hunt in PA this year and killed one nice buck and had an opportunity at a real trophy. Dan Infalt was with them. I know how hard it is to hunt here and I was really impressed.

Re: New Hunter Help
They make really good videos, but if you take notice they do a LOT of deer drives. That is something that is getting lost in modern hunting.

What about GL 056? Lots of signs around Lake Warren and there is a good amount of territory in a few of the places scattered around
Also GL157 Haycock Mountain has a lot of territory too...
I explored both with the flintlock when I didn't want to drive to the cabin.

Re: New Hunter Help
Haycock is a zoo during regular gun season and actually pretty small. Way too many fingers of private property poking into it.
