Ruger wants to know my ethnicity. Why?
In a world where we are not supposed to notice race, where mentioning someone's race brings a "what has race got to do with it?",
but if you are MSM you can mention it all the time, such as "first ** to achieve the position"; Ruger is asking ethnicity, supplying a list to X on.
To what purpose? Is some government agency creating this "necessity"? Is Ruger and others in the trade targeting consumers for some purpose? All this to register the gun as a new owner, the carrot being a 20% discount on one single order from ShopRuger. If and when the item comes back into in stock. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: Ruger wants to know my ethnicity. Why?
Because Ruger is continuing the fudd culture left over from when Bill was alive?
No doubt in my mind Ruger would sell its ugly black gun clientele down the river in a second to work with the coming Biden administration.

Simmer down, Chicken Little!
If you haven't noticed, there are a WHOLE LOT of people buying guns this year that, traditionally, were not in a demographic of frequent purchases. This appears to be changing and vendors want to know who is buying their products, so they can successfully advertise to that market.
It's the "Free Market" doing what it does.
Not everything is a conspiracy.
ETA: OR...it is a conspiracy between Ruger and the BATFE to make a "back door registry" by identifying who is clicking on their ads for things like 30 round .556 magazines, in order to determine who has EBRs, so they can be confiscated later.Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Maybe they want to know what kind of food you'll prefer at the BBQ.
This is the BBQ section after all...Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
