Default Dan Wesson 15-2 .357 Mag

Just picked up this 15-2 from Tanners last weekend. Serial # indicates it was crafted in 1979. Came with the original box and paperwork. This was my "Grail Gun" so I am pretty happy to have found this nice of an example. From all indications, it looks like the original owner fired a box of .38's through it, oiled it and put it in the safe. If anyone happens to know the story on this one please let me know.

Nice pickup. Tanners is a dangerous place. Every time I'm in the neighborhood, I stop in. More than half the time I buy something.

Funny I just picked up a 6" 15-2 Monson about 2 weeks ago (excellent price). In about unfired con also. I am on the look out for a 4" HBR. I like the look of the porkchop, but something about that full lug. Enjoy it, mine is defiantly a shooter.

My PD issued Dan Wessons for a while back in the day. Wish I had bought mine when offered.

Nice! I had the Pistol Pac back in the early 80s. Very accurate with plain Win-USA 158gr JSP. Sold it to a friend whose since taken several deer with and a scoped 10in barrel.
