Default PA Attorney General Candidate Daniel Wassmer

I’m surprised more chatter isn’t being done for the states AG seat. We all know how Shapiro has been with reciprocity and “80%” pieces of plastic and metal.

I was looking over Heather Heidlebaugh and considering her, saw the NRA gave her a 92% on guns... take that for what it’s worth. Anyway, I see she is another Toomey more or less from this thread https://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=356059

I consider myself more libertarian anyway and was happy to see there are a few libertarian candidates at the state level(I know they have no chance at the presidency). Anyway, I saw Daniel Wassmer and his site http://wassmer4pa.com and more info here http://vote.wpsu.org/candidates/203/.

While I don’t agree 100% on all his issues, I’m willing to throw my vote for him over another Toomey. Anyone have thoughts on this candidate?

Honestly, Shapiro is likely a lock to remain. And splitting the R/L vote into 2 different candidates certainly won’t help.

I understand voting for the candidate whose priorities are most inline with your own, but sometimes voting for the candidate with the best chances to beat the democrat is what is needed

This is one of those times, up and down the ballot

Maybe back in April/May this would have been worth a look. The chances of beating this shnook are slim, but to siphon off any pro gun votes away from Heiodlebaugh are, are....... Are you fukin nutz???

Straight red ticket is how any freedom loving American should be voting on Tuesday.

Yeah, haven*t been keeping up on the AG race. I haven*t noticed any ads or anything in general on the AG race in my AO. Thanks for the insight all.

If not for this thread, I wouldn't even know we were voting for AG on election day.
If there's another candidate running, I couldn't name them for a million dollars.

I have seen a few Shitpiro signs but none for Heather Heidlebaugh. Be nice if Trump carried all the R's to a win.

Shapiro won in 2016 even with Trump and Toomey winning this state. I posted some stuff before about Heidlebaugh but I noticed little interest about the AG race on this website. Heidlebaugh doesn't seem to be interested in gun rights either. She doesn't make any reference to gun rights on her social media sites or campaign website. The only exception is on one account where she mentions her endorsement from the NRA. I suspect she would be better than Shapiro on guns and it would be great to have a pro gun politician on the higher level of state government to offset Wolf and his cronies. I guess we will see when the election vote counting mess gets straighten out.
