    Default YouTube videos

You can find a youtube video for just about everything.

Haven't done that particular task for 4 or 5 years.

Just don't use one as a guide where the "instructor" puts the hammer spring in backwards.

I should have caught it myself and saved a lot of trouble at the range, and subsequent redo.

Stupid is as stupid as Mamma Tick used to say.

The mistake is watching only ONE video. When I started Gunsmithing & building, it was the beginning of the Interwebs & YouTube. As I progressed those first few years, I would take in every single video & blog tutorial I could find! I was like a Black Hole with them...taking in ALL the info I could & not letting an ounce of it go!

Looking at only one video, you have no point of reference. But watching five videos on the same subject, and finding that one of them did something different than the other four.... well, we now have a frame of reference.

NEVER watch one video & think you*re good to go.

I still can't assemble my Ruger 22/45 Lite without a YouTube video. I'd probably remember how if I cleaned it more than once a year. Those .22's are evil.

OMG that gun is a NITEMARE. I won't shoot it because I don't want to clean it anymore.

My new Youtube fascination is how to Weld. Something that I would like to learn if the country doesn't fall apart first

They are a pain if you don't do it often. After you do it a couple times it's semi easy. Next time I go to clean it I forgot everything. I sold it.
