    Default Deer bologna near Lancaster?

    Hey y'all.

I normally take my deer to illyes but was fortunate enough to get enough bone out meat in archery to get about 40lbs of bologna made. Couple that with a friend whose skinning and deboning and hanging practices are more than a little suspect, and well....

Illyes doesn't make bologna with just your meat (even for added cost). So I'm looking for trying somewhere else that would possibly use just your own meat. I also like cheese bologna, and would like to find somewhere that offers that.

Anyone use or have opinions on kings in wrightsville or hess in willow street? Also open to other shops but thats 2 I heard thst offer cheese bologna. However, I'm Not sure if they will do a "your meat only" batch.

Make it yourself. Not difficult. This is why I process my own. I work hard to kill a deer. i'm not eating 2/3 or more of some sloppy hunters harvest.

Just saw an ad for Twin Pines Custom Meats in Myerstown. Don't know anything about them, but it looks like you get your own meat back and they make cheese bologna among other things.

My neighbor has a friend that gets some made, not sure where. Want me to ask him? I've tried it, it was really good. Tasted a lot like Seltzers Sweet Balogna.
