#127, #296 or #141
I know #127 and #141 are open but how about #206?
Also, how is the snow around #127 or #141? I'm trying to get out tomorrow and get several guns sighted in for deer season and I was just wondering what the conditions are like out there. I know the Poconos got hit with some heavy snow, and I do have a 4x4 so I'm not too worried about driving in the left over snow.Last edited by Steve in PA; October 29th, 2008 at 10:33 PM.

We still have about 6 inches on the ground here in Hazleton, but the weather is supposed to warm up over the next few days and expect it will be pretty much gone by the weekend...
When ya going ?? Was thinking about heading over there Sunday to do the same....

I'm going tomorrow because I go to midnights tomorrow night, then I'm going to a LEO Firearms Instructor session in NJ next week. I won't get another chance to hit the range till after I get back.
I'm hoping to avoid the cold and crowds of November. The PGC really screwed the pooch with doing these ranges so late in the season.

Looks like I will be heading to #206 tomorrow.
A guy posted this picture on the HuntingPA forum today. The range is open for business!

Re: #127, #296 or #141
The PGC finished 206 in less time than I expected. I was out there last week and thought that it'd be mid-November.
I imagine that it'll get crowded fast at 206. I know that I have a number of gun projects that have been waiting for a range to open.

Yeah, I got an email back from the guy who posted the picture I re-posted. He said the range is open so that is where I will be heading after breakfast. I'll try and take some other pictures. I'm hoping the range won't be too busy today.

Is the 25yd range at SGL 127 pistol only? I'd like to let my friends do some off hand shooting with the AK next time I go but the 50yd tables are almost always occupied and frankly I get nervous about people shooting over the 50yd berm.
