Armslist No Longer Free
I saw on Facebook and confirmed myself that Armslist is no longer free to sell or buy on. If you are browsing and want to contact a seller, a notification pops up requiring you to upgrade your account to a paid personal account. It also appears this is not an error of some sort because the details of the paid account specifically lists contacting sellers as an advantage.
Besides PAFOA and now excluding armslist, are there any other places for finding local used firearms classifieds?
Interesting to see if people go along with this to sell or buy firearms now. Hopefully this will mean more traffic for PAFOA.

Re: Armslist No Longer Free
While I have perused Scamslist and have an account, I have never traded there but I did receive email notification to that effect yesterday. Me continuing to not use that site won't even be noticed. I buy here and HKPro and have an account at Sig and UZI, which is where I would go if I was looking for their stuff.

Armslist is the Internet version of the Star Wars cantina on Tatooine.

Just tried it, did run into the paywall.
Not worth paying for that place given the number of scams on there.

I feel like htis is a better way to protect people from scams by having verifiable financial info on everyone it may also deter scammers, that being said I never used Armslist nor do I ever plan to so no loss on my end.

Re: Armslist No Longer Free
perhaps the reason you didn't use armslist is because of the proliferation of scammers? maybe this move will help reverse that trend, somehow.
I haven't looked (mostly because, armslist is so full of scammers I stopped bothering to look there ) but what is the fee they're asking?
IIRC, didn't gunbroker also require some small fee to sign up to buy, with a note that it would be "credited" towards the seller's fee if you ever use their service to sell?Member: NJ "undocumented" Felons Club. NRA Life Member

Re: Armslist No Longer Free
I've had fairly good luck selling on Armslist. You just need to treat it like Craigslist and be ready for idiocy.
I would not be so willing to pay to use it without some sort of benefit other then a CL for firearms.
