Glock trigger safety
Has anyone had any experience with a Glock trigger safety literally shearing off near the rounded tip? I was shooting this evening with a co-worker and his did just that. I thought it pretty odd as there isn't really a way to put any sideways pressure on it to cause it break in such a manner. At any rate, it made it painful, if not next to impossible to shoot. Got him squared away with an entire new trigger/trigger bar.

I've never seen it happen either.
I'm not really surprised though.

Re: Glock trigger safety
Never happed to any of my Glocks or P80 with Glock trigger. But I*ve seen it a couple times over my 22 years owning them. Although unlikely, look close & you can see the safety blade is not supported past that point. In effect, where it broke is basically a fulcrum. Seems like it would take intentional side loading to break it....but who knows.
