The Python he got me landed safely in Miami today and is on it's way to his place in CO.. Will be discreetly import marked and then shipped to my FFL - looking forward to finally getting it. Great price and appeared to be in good shape.

Here's one on GB now. Same gun, same condition. Oddly, it too has foreign proofs and guy is using that to get a premium - buy it now price - $ 3,299.99. Now, he will never get it, but it would most likely go North of $ 2,000 but he is not taking anything less than $ 2,999!!

OK , current Colt prices are silly I know. A King Cobra was always kinda like a low-cost Python wannbe. They were probably less than half the cost of a Python back when they came out. IIRC , I paid $550 for my mint 1960 Python back around 1990.

I thought so too but then I see one on GB that has European proofs too and Gunshop is asking a premium because of it! A hefty premium too! Who knows.
