    Default .22 TCM Cartridge

Has anyone heard of this round? I was on the RIA website and they have a 1911 style pistol chambered in this caliber. It is said to deliver over over 2000 fps with a light recoil. In contrast, standard Stinger .22 ammo is putting out about 1640 fps.

    Here's more information with comparisons between the .22 TCM , 7.62 X25 and the 5.7X 28

Good video. It seems the .22 TCM is a pretty decent round and as he said for the longer range, better than the 7.62X25. I'll be interested in seeing his review of the RIA pistol when he has more rounds through it. If it's on par with the two RIA .45's I own, it should test out pretty good.

It’s been around at least 5 years now maybe longer. I believe the round itself was developed by RIA to compete with the 5.7. Their 45’s run pretty will chambered in that caliber and a few come with a 9mm conversion since some of the parts are interchangeable. My cousin has been shooting the round for awhile and has a bolt action chambered in it. If also believe someone makes a Flick conversion kit for the caliber as well.

I had a bbl installed in my 19 and put few thru it.
Nice round, however I prefer the 5.7x28, just personal preference.

nice round. I have a bolt action in the caliber but I haven't shot it much. I'm interested in the 1911 they have that comes in this and another barrel for 9mm. Their are glock conversions available but the ammo is slightly different.

    From Google:
Because the only real difference is the bullet, .*22 TCM 9R*can be used with standard .*22 TCM*pistols, just not the other way around. The*9R*load is capable of producing muzzle velocities in the 1,900- to 2,000-feet per second range, just a hair behind the standard load.
