I had a GI model a few years ago. Went bang every time I pulled the trigger. Ended up selling it as I have other 1911's I just liked better, but it was a solid shooter.

You need sunglasses to shoot mine.
I don't want to sell it, but if it comes to it, that's the next gun I'm willing to part with.
I always wanted a 1911, but as compared to everything else I own, it doesn't serve any real, practical purpose.

I have my eye on two RIAs.

The TCM STANDARD MS 22TCM in 22TCM/9mm, which I want as a daily carry and the ROCK ULTRA FS HC - 10MM, because 16 rounds of 10mm in a 1911 platform

I know for a fact you've spent more time cleaning finger prints than shooting that

Cruzans would be all over that if you sold it. Add a couple gold accents and you'd have to keep him away with a stick.

1911s serve every purpose you heathen!

I got an unfired plain Jane USGI from a member here.

It’s never even hiccuped once. It’s more accurate than my 70 series Gold Cup, which kinda pisses me off.

Anyone who’s ever shot it, rang the six inch steel with their first magazine, and immediately fell in love.

I have that one in .38 Super and no I will not sell it. It's too much fun to shoot. My wife calls it my Pimp Gun.

Just picked up a dbl. stack in 10 mm. My Christmas present to myself. Only had it out once. I point, I shoot, it hits. Got some crazy good groups right off the bat. It doesn*t like my hand loads but factory ammo runs great. Not a big fan of the mag quality, had some burrs at the top by the lips. They were causing some hang ups with the follower. A little file work and they are gone. I will see how that works next trip out. Overall I think it will be a keeper. Wow 17 rounds of 10, what a hammer!
