I have a full carry ny permit no pa license and I'm under the impression if my pistols are transported to the range unloaded in my car I can take them to the range and shoot. also can a non pistol permit holder fire my weapons at the range ?in. ny you need permit just to handle a pistol. thanks in advance

Vehicle carry is allowed for you in Pennsylvania under exemption 11 of PA 6106.

Re: out of state visitors and shooting ranges
If, by ranges.........you mean the public PA Game Commission Ranges, you will also need a valid hunting license or range permit to shoot at the ranges. If you don't have one or the other, you will be fined by the PGC.

I don't believe the OP is legit, the syntax reads like the many spam posts we get from NY.

Re: out of state visitors and shooting ranges
I should be fine under hr 218 but got 2 friends that are looking to shoot. one has a nays permit and the other doesn't have a permit. can they transport the guns to a Pennsylvania range and shoot? in ny you can't go to a pistol range without a license.this isn't a spam post just an honest question. thanks
