Some people love them, some hate them. I have several and would trust my life to any of them.

I have a G17 and 19. I use them for range work, but not carry. I do like them. My biggest problem was the screwy doohick you had to press down to field strip it. Then I discovered that there are aftermarket extended doohicks, and things are just peachy now.

I’ll chime in here....always hated Glock due to the weird grip angle and the 2x4 feeling in my hands and the weight (I don’t carry compacts/subcompacts). And the factory trigger is atrocious. Loved my sig 250, and my FNP9 and absolutely regret selling them.

Fast forward To last year I had the option to take my sisters g17 gen4. Carried that all summer and sold it in October last year, swore I’d never buy another Glock. Guess what? I now carry another Glock 17 and begrudgingly call myself a Glock guy now 🤣. With some minor tweaking the trigger can be made better (ghost connector and springs, vickers flat face trigger shoe, $0.25 polish job, etc) and redeems the horrible qualities of the gun

I want a 19 gen4 with the finger grooves as a carry gun now after I shot another poofa members gen4s. That arguably makes the Glock a much more comfortable pistol to own and takes the 2x4 feeling away. The strange grip angle I can deal with from there. Paired with the simplicity and proven reliability of Glock I’m sold.

Some guns you show your friends, some you show your enemies. Glock definitely falls in the latter catagory.

I totally respect the Glock platform but for me it*s all ergonomics I haven*t found one to fit my hands yet. It*s what I love about my S&W M/P fits in my hand like it belongs there .

Congrats on your purchase ....it*s always nice to add to the collection

Enjoy your Glock. I never thought I'd be a Block fan either. I carry Sig 365 during the warmer months and a fully customized G19 g4 during the heavy clothing times. Initially I had very little affection for the G19 but, after replacing/upgrading all of the internals and a trigger replacement it has been one of my favorites; next to Sig 229, Walther PPQ v1 and a customized S&W M&P 2.0. Glock is good stuff and easy. Have fun and get proficient.

The 19 is the most accurate of all my carry guns.

I have guns I like better - Sig & H&K - but this is such a good combination of size, capacity, and reliability, it*s tough to beat.
