    Default Delaware CC

Going to be traveling to Delaware in a couple days and will be CC'ing with my Utah permit, anyone know of anything majorly different compared to PA? (Places off limits, etc). Going to read up on DE laws on handgunlaw.us also but figured I'd ask in case I miss something.

It is my understanding that you cannot conceal in a vehicle. The gun must be visible in the car. Seat or dashboard is best. You can't have it in the glove box or console.

CCW is prohibited in state/national forests, Wildlife Management Areas and State Parks. Delaware is full of these areas large and small including and especially along stretches of shore line.

Yep another gotcha for out of state carriers in many states. It would be nice to be able to use one set of rules. Maybe like..................the Constitution?

Delaware is a "May Issue" state. It's actually easier for a non resident to get a reciprocal license/permit and carry in Delaware than it is for a Delaware resident to get a resident license/permit. Delaware residents cannot carry in Delaware without the Delaware license/permit.

What you are referring to is a way to open carry in a vehicle without a license/permit, if you have an accepted license/permit cc in a vehicle is allowed.

That is just one of the hoops an applicant must jump through in DE.
