I brought my cousin into the gun owning fraternity last month and, going off the one visit I had last year to 507, plus the positive things I've been hearing and reading about them, accompanied him there as he purchased his first handgun. Inventory on 9mm's was ridiculously low in Jersey, so he dealt with them on my recommendation, paid list price for his compact S&W MP9, and arranged for them to transfer the handgun to a NJ GS near his home. After waiting a week, he contacted the Jersey dealer, who said nothing had come in yet. He waited another couple of days and then called 507, who told them it still hadn't gone out via UPS as "...they were busy". Within two days, the gun finally was received by NJ GS.

Not for nothing but plenty of LGS's are busy, even though many others are stripped down to their bare walls of guns and ammo. Just no excuse for a handgun to be left sitting on their shelf for that length of time, IMO. These guys could, and should do better.
