Default IRS investigating NRA’s Wayne LaPierre for possible tax fraud

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/lifestyl...ible-tax-fraud

Mr. LaPierre was paid $2.2 million by the NRA in 2018, the most recent year available, the nonprofit group*s public filings show. His total reported pay from 2014 to 2018 was $11.2 million.

In August, he was*charged in a civil suit by New York Attorney General*Letitia James with taking millions of dollars of allegedly undisclosed compensation from the NRA and its vendors, in the form of free yacht trips, private jet flights for his family, exotic safaris and other benefits.

Asked at a news conference announcing the lawsuit whether she believed Mr. LaPierre had evaded personal taxes, Ms. James declined to comment but said she was referring the matter to the IRS.

Fuck Wayne. He is exactly what is wrong with the NRA. Where was the NRA when the republicans had control of the house, senate, and presidency?

Li'l Wayne was out doing the media circuit after Las Vegas, saying that the ATF "needed to do its job" and ban bumpstocks.

Moving the goalpost farther and farther away so they could continue to gladly accept your donations "to fight for your rights."

+1 on Fuck Wayne. I hope this is finally the nail in his coffin. He's nothing more than a democratic operative masquerading as a pro-gun republican.

While the NRA has done some good over the years, it has repeatedly capitulated and given away traction. Eventually, they realized that if they "win it all," the money will stop rolling in and Wayne wouldn't be able to pad his pockets.

Screw him. All he had to do was listen to the gunner community and step down, He may have avoided further investigations. He didn't cause he's all about himself so now he's on his own.

If the ultimate goal is to hurt the NRA the lefts agenda would be better served with him remaining in place.
Looking at any discussion about WLP and the disunity is (has been) apparent.
Wonder who's gonna foot the bill for his defense?

Weaponizing the IRS again.....Funny how the Clinton foundation has no worries....That agency should have been drained.

Think of Wayne as you like, but its equal justice or no justice....The bureaucrats go after who they politically want to hurt.

Or maybe he actually did it. He doesn't exactly have a clean financial record.

So many haters here..........it boggles the mind how people here are siding with the NY attorney general.

And for those who also lack reading comprehension the attorney general is suing him in civil court (which is bogus) and she will be "referring the matter to the IRS". No where does it say the IRS is investigating anything.
