Around Milford...take a stroll on any gamelands, state forest, national recreation area, or other huntable land. You've got an abundance of oak and hickory out that way, especially anywhere in the Delaware river valley. More fat gray squirrels than you can shake a .410 at! PRrobably some of the most abundant squirrel grounds in the state. Find a spot and explore. You won't be let down.

If you can't find squirrels in PA, then you're doing something seriously wrong. There's so many squirrels in PA they have their own lobbying group in Harrisburg.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Yeah that’s the thing. I don’t know where I’m allowed to go. I’m surrounded by woods but I’m not sure of just walking into the woods and hope that I’m not doing anything illegal. I’m using an air gun. I passed the hunter course. I know I have to buy the small game license. I just don’t know where I’m allowed to hunt. I see cars parked along the road on 209 between Dingmans Bridge and the other more modern bridge. Do you just walk in and that’s that?

Find a spot. Contact offices if you have questions. Pay attention to safety zones. Many, many acres to hunt.

Ok one last question. I looked at the maps. I take my canoe on Shahola Lake sometimes. Which looks likes it’s in SGL 180. So I just drive in there, where I usually take my canoe, park and I’m good to go?

I was shooting rabbits and squirrels on long island with a pissant daisy pump when I was a kid.
