Very nice! I have never seen a Kimber that wasn't appealing to the eye. How does it shoot?

    Does it run on batteries?
What's the on/off switch on the grip for?

Oh, wait. Nevermind. I'll assume it has a laser built into the grip!

Switch on the left grip? Isn't the laser on right grip?

Nice looking .45 BTW and I don't usually go for two tones.

They make a good looking gun but I never had much luck with Kimbers. The ones I owned were POS.

Always wanted a kimber. Never wanted to pay the price. Have had plenty other (more affordable) 1911 platform guns. Finally had some cash and came across a deal on a used ultra carry raptor. Snagged it up and found it worth the wait. This gun eats and shoots well with all my hand loads and any factory stuff I decide to feed it. Liked it so much I bought a two tone plain Jane ultra carry when it showed up in the same used case at the shop. Same results. I*m a lefty and the two tone was not. A quick search on the I pad and I had the appropriate parts on the way from kimber. Easy fix, now I*m looking for some commander sized kimbers in that same case. Wanna bet it*ll be worth the wait? They look good and mine work well, accuracy*s scary good as well. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.
