Re: Dragons breath vs. clean barrel
What if you mix some road flare contents, with some other known stuff that works? What say yee Poofa pyros?
What's inside a flare?
Flares produce their light through the combustion of a pyrotechnic composition. The ingredients are varied, but often based on strontium nitrate, potassium nitrate, or potassium perchlorate and mixed with a fuel such as charcoal, sulfur, sawdust, aluminium, magnesium, or a suitable polymeric resin.Aggies Coach Really ??? Re: Dragons breath vs. clean barrel
I'm honestly not sure what op is trying to accomplish.... dragons breath produces a flame for a split second at a short range, where a flare burns longer at a farther range, taking a flare apart would make it not burn as long . I'd sooner build a flamethrower out of a pressure washer than rely on dragons breath

Re: Dragons breath vs. clean barrel
Well, somebody posted a link to a video of a cleaning shell, here's a link to a video of various specialty shot shells. If you want to skip the other BS, the Dragon's Breath starts at 7 minutes:

I liked the barbecue chicken idea, but I'm not going to try this at home.Know your audience. Don't try to sell a Prius at a Monster Truck Rally.
