I*m curious since Ruger is in CT and Marlin was in New Haven CT, if some of the original employees will be brought back to do things right, like they used to.

ruger did not buy the marlin factory, will be interesting to see where they end up moving the machinery and start making the guns

Marlin lever actions of note:
Model 1895 (.45-70, .444, .450)
Model 336 (variety of calibers over the years including .30-30 and .35 Remington chambering)
Model 1894 (.38/357, .44 Special/Mag, .45 LC)
Model 39 (.22 LR)
When built with care and decent CQ some of the finest lever guns ever made. One reason why they were made for so many years. Smoother to operate than a Winchester, easy take down and mechanically durable designs.

Ruger hasn't been made in Connecticut for years now. They make their firearms in Newport New Hampshire, Prescott Arizona and Mayohan North Carolina. The former Southport CT factory is now occupied by a Gunsmith and one of the few sources for Ruger Red Label shotgun parts and knowledge.
