    Congrats! Must have been a hell of a battle if it took Mr. Prince 5 years to complete it.

    It would be the first or second page of the 302 document. In Pennsylvania, the petition part of the 302 paperwork, when completed by a police officer or physician, is automatically approved and does not need the approval of a county mental health delegate. Then part 6 is completed which is the actual involuntary commitment part where another physician makes the final decision of hospitalization is needed. Given your statement about the state police filing an appeal, it appeared as though they may have done the petition part.
