Default Plaintiffs Needed for Lawsuit Against City of Philadelphia for LTCF Delays

The delay to receive an appointment for an LTCF in the City of Philadelphia is now over a year.

Gun Owners of America is looking for residents who live in the City of Philadelphia who either want a NEW LTCF or wish to RENEW their license to be plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the City. If you or someone you know is willing to step forward to be a plaintiff, please contact me.

We need to move as quickly as we can to address this injustice.

Just message me here or email: val.finnell@gunowners.org

You are welcome. Yes, and if you know anyone who wants to be a plaintiff, please let me know. Thanks.

You may want to engage the local gun shops in the 5 county area and possibly leave some cards or literature. They are obviously dealing with a lot of first time buyers and many want to carry as well, but are unable to get a LTCF anytime soon because of PPD's process. I hear city residents complain about it every weekend at a shop in Bucks.

This isn't just a Philly issue either. A coworker that lives in Delco finally decided to get his LTCF, but can't get an appointment until February 2021.

Glad to see this. What good are preemption laws if they are ignored? Good luck Philadelphians!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are fully aware of the issue in other counties. Philadelphia is the most egregious in terms of delay.
