Denied license to carry for summary

Just a question,some summary offenses are they all considered a crime ? Would a summary offense for disorderley conduct non physical prevent you from keeping your LTCF ?

I read through that form 500 times there's nothing about summary anything... Just says misdemeanors. I read read and read.... There's nothing that I had that I shouldn't have applied with... nothing I answered was a lie everything I answered I have not been involved in any of the things asked on the form

Also I had that charge last time I bought a 270 and got my ltcf permit it's not new it came up for my boss when I started my job. ait's definitely been showing up for a while. It's not like it just went on my record. And I got a job with the government and the if you have anything that would prevent you from buying a gun you're probably not going to get a job there and everything went through fine with that also with that.

If you have a negative "character" or "reputation" issue that the sheriff discovered during your background investigation for your LTCF, the sheriff can deny you ... simple as that !

I'm not an expert but to my knowledge the challenge form is to challenge mistaken identity or false/wrong information criminal history. If you are saying this charged and warrant existed during the time you applied you might be committing another crime by sending in the form. Especially if you satisfied the warrant after you were denied the LTCF. Better contact an attorney to resolve this.

There’s no crime in challenging a LTCF, but challenging a purchase with a criminal record, and it could get one prosecuted. I would send that form in, and note right on it that you took care of an outstanding warrant which you had no knowledge of.

That's my only crimes on my record are a summary disorderly conduct from when I was 19 and a summary disorderly conduct with a $200 fine 2012

Thank you I will send and the challenge I do not have a crime that bars me from purchasing a firearm or carrying a firearm so I'm not committing any crimes... I'm not lying about anything or hoping they don't see something, none of that. I went home I was really baffled like so I ran a Pennsylvania state background check on myself and I want for insufficient payment was showing for the 2012 case at $16 open

No I don't have negative character. I have two blemishes on my record and they are both summary citations. And they are 15 years apart. ..

*UPDATE*

I received my letter from the state police stating there is no reason for me to be prohibited from a license to carry when I go back to the sheriff's office present them with this paper. What I did was send in a challenge explaining the situation
