No problem to get the FBI to come in and present altered evidence at trial. This is a standard procedure for them and they've been caught altering evidence time and time again. There is no penalty for the FBI lying in court so why not use altered evidence if it keeps the narrative rolling?

The FBI crime lab is a place where reports are altered and wrongdoers are promoted, high-ranking bureau agents told a Senate panel on Monday.

The charges echoed revelations in a Justice Department report released in April. But the agents' testimony undercut the contention of some FBI defenders that complaints about the lab have been exaggerated.

The FBI's principal critic on Capitol Hill, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, called the hearing in an attempt to go beyond the Justice Department's inspector general's report, which shook up the crime lab this spring and delivered another blow to the FBI's public image as a rock of integrity.
