I really hope him and his family file a suit against all of the defamers....

He*ll need that money to offset the myriad of civil lawsuits that have already been filed against him. Rittenhouse will be lawyered up for the rest of his life defending himself from civil suits.

It is my humble opinion that on the night of the shootings, the kid was on the receiving end of some Devine intervention.

Think about it. There was no testimony about his having spent a lot of time shooting - and the prosecutor would have dug it up if there was. He said he did not know much about ammo when the issue of FMJ vs HP was brought up. I'm thinking he was pretty much an AR newbie.

He turns a split second before Rosenbaum tackles him and the rest descend to beat him to death.

I"m sure he heart rate was off the charts as he went down the street to face another deadly encounter. He has to run again for his life. He falls. He gets whacked in the neck with a skateboard. Kicked in the face.

THEN!!.....from an almost lying down position takes out the second guy.

THEN!!.....from a sitting position puts #3 out of commission.

No spray and pray and no innocent bystanders struck by stray bullets.

17 yrs old!! Every time I see the the video I'm still amazed that he got out of there alive.

I really think someone upstairs was looking out for the kid.

I've done extensive research into court procedure, mostly by watching that movie and the lovely Miss Tomei, and I can honestly say, the Rittenhouse trial process is completely fucked up.

The defense absolutely should have had an ammo expert on the stand. The prosecution spells out full metal jacket several times because it sounds menacing to a non-gunner, and they said it in a manner implying that it was the most dangerous type of ammo that could be fired from an ar15, also implying that there are less dangerous types of ammo that can be fired from an ar15. There's no such thing as JHP 5.56 ammo, and JHP is designed to fragment in the body, doing more damage, and increasing the likelihood of victim death. You know, JHP, the type that gaige had in his handgun that he wasn't allowed to have as a felon? His CCW card hadn't expired, it was not eligible for renewal.

Yes, he did an amazing job under intense stress. I wonder how well he knew the applicable firearms and use-of-force laws at that time? i.e. smart or lucky that his actions were lawful?
